Four former UGA All-Americans and one coach have been chosen for induction into UGA’s Circle of Honor, the university’s highest tribute to former athletes and coaches.
Tennis player George Bezecny, quarterback Zeke Bratkowski, men’s golf coach Dick Copas, volleyball player Priscilla Pacheco and gymnast Heather Stepp will be honored at a Sept. 22 induction banquet at the Butts-Mehre Heritage Hall. They also will be recognized at the Sept. 23 football game.
The Circle of Honor pays tribute to extraordinary student-athletes and coaches who have brought honor to the university and themselves and have contributed to the tradition of the Georgia Bulldogs. The criteria also stipulate that each recipient has earned an academic degree.
