The Knoxville News quoted Bob Izlar, director of UGA’s Center for Forest Business, in a story analyzing the effects of low timber prices in recent years. “It’s been brutal,” he said, “from the tree that the tree farmer grows all the way to the multinational corporation that’s trying to sell a product made from the tree-lumber, plywood or pulp and paper.” The story also ran in other newspapers.
