A former Lehigh University student is seeking $1.3 million in damages from the Pennsylvania university after receiving a C+ in a 2009 graduate course, according to Allentown’s The Morning Call newspaper.
The grade forced Megan Thode out of a licensed professional counselor program in the university’s College of Education. The former student’s lawyer said his client is the victim of breach of contract and that the unfair grade led to a loss in future income.
