She earned the nickname “Steel Magnolia” while at Procter and Gamble, where she oversaw more than 20 global beauty and personal-care brands. She holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor of business administration from Terry College.

The conference also offers programs on financial planning, entrepreneurship, work-life balance and social media. The luncheon speaker will be Jill Tietjen, co-author of the best-selling book “Her Story: A Timeline of Women who Changed America.”

“This is a great opportunity for professional women and students to hear directly from female executives-no matter where they are in their careers,” said Natalie Glenn, director of alumni relations at Terry College. “The conference is in its third year and while we are always sure to include plenty of time for networking, our speakers and panel topics change to provide new and different content. Our conference attendees range from undergraduate and MBA students, young and seasoned professionals, university faculty and staff, and alumni and friends of the university.”
