Four finalists for the position of associate provost for international education at UGA will visit campus to meet with members of the university community.
A committee chaired by Rahul Shrivastav, vice president for instruction, conducted a national search to identify the finalists. The committee was assisted by the UGA Search Group in Human Resources.
Each finalist will make a public presentation from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the Reception Hall (Room 135) of the Tate Student Center. The finalists and the dates of their presentations are:
• Noel Fallows, interim associate provost for international education at UGA and a Distinguished Research Professor of Romance Languages in the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences, Aug. 23.
• Kiki Caruson, assistant vice president for research, innovation and global affairs, and an associate professor of government and international affairs at the University of South Florida, Aug. 25.
• Jane Gatewood, associate provost for global engagement at the University of Rochester, Aug. 30.
• Paul Kaiser, senior World Bank consultant, Sept. 1.

The associate provost for international education provides leadership for UGA’s international endeavors, which cover the spectrum of its tripartite mission of teaching, research and service.
