Four finalists have been chosen from a national search for the position of senior vice president for external affairs at UGA. They are:
• Thomas W. Jennings, senior development officer for special projects at the University of Virginia. He also has been associate dean for development in UVA’s College and Graduate School of Arts and Sciences and was director of university development at Washington and Lee University.
• Thomas S. Landrum, interim senior vice president for external affairs at UGA. Landrum became interim vice president Jan. 1. He has worked at UGA since 1976 and has been director of public relations, executive assistant to the vice president for development and university relations, assistant to former President Charles B. Knapp and executive assistant to current President Michael F. Adams.
• Virgil Renzulli, vice president for public affairs at Arizona State University. He also has been associate vice president for public affairs at Columbia University and assistant vice president for public affairs at New York University.
• Eloise D. Stuhr, associate vice chancellor for university development and alumni relations at Vanderbilt University. Stuhr previously worked at Pennsylvania State University where she was executive director of leadership gifts and executive director of university development.
The candidates will participate in an open forum with UGA deans. Forums for Landrum and Jennings took place Dec. 6 and 7, respectively. Stuhr’s forum is Dec. 11 at 10:30 a.m.; Renzulli’s is Dec. 12 at 11 a.m. Both forums take place in rooms F/G of the Georgia Center for Continuing Education.
