UGA and the Athens-Clarke County government and school district will host the third annual “Freedom Breakfast” in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. national holiday Jan. 13 at 7:30 a.m. in Georgia Hall at the Tate Student Center.
Damon Evans, director of athletics, is the keynote speaker. The “Fulfilling the Dream” award will be presented to four recipients, two from the community and two from UGA.
Tickets are $15 and may be purchased from the Office of Institutional Diversity. Ticket order forms for the breakfast are available online (www.uga.edu/diversity, in the “Events” section) or by contacting Joan Pittman by phone (583-8195).
