Gayle Andrews, an associate professor of middle grades education, is the new president of the National Forum to Accelerate Middle-Grades Reform, an alliance of more than 60 educators, researchers, national associations and officers of professional organizations and foundations dedicated to improving schools for adolescents across the country.
The organization’s mission is to unite key stakeholders to speak with one voice to leverage research, policy, leadership and exemplary practices to drive middle-grades reform. Andrews will serve a two-year term.
