Major development toward Georgia Tech and Emory University’s shared library consortium began last month as Georgia Tech prepared to send 95 percent of its physical inventory to a climate-controlled storage facility that will house the two university’s shared collections.
Georgia Tech closed the doors to the Dorothy M. Crosland Tower Dec. 31 to begin renovating the library into a multimedia study space that will house few actual books.
