Gilles O. Allard, professor emeritus of geology, received the Jean Descarreaux Prize from the Association de l’Exploration Minière du Québec.
The award is given to a person “whose writings have contributed to an increase in geoscientific knowledge linked to mineral exploration, thus increasing exploration activities.”
