The UGA golf course is offering PGA professional golf instruction on Saturday mornings (March 19, April 9 and 30, and May 7 and 28), 9 a.m.–noon, at the practice range.
Spring golf clinics will be offered every Wednesday evening (March 9 through May 25) 5:30–7 p.m., at the practice range.
Both workshops and clinics are open to men and women of all playing abilities.
Saturday workshops are limited to three students per session. The fee of $50 includes instruction and range balls. Workshops cover the fundamentals of the short game, irons and woods. Three-person groups can reserve other times and dates; call for information.
Wednesday evening clinics focus on the mechanics and the feel associated with the proper full swing and short game. The fee of $20 covers instruction and unlimited range balls. Class size is limited to 10 students.
Instruction in both workshop and clinic is tailored to each person’s ability level and physical limitations. Practice techniques will be emphasized; training aids, pictures, and video analysis will demonstrate fundamentals. Golf clubs can be provided upon request.
