Judges are needed for documentary, performance, website, exhibit and paper categories at the annual District I History Day Contest, which will be held Jan. 29 at the Georgia Center for Continuing Education Conference Center and Hotel. Judging will be conducted from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Lunch will be provided.
History Day is a way for students in grades 6-12 throughout the country to study and learn about historical issues, ideas, people and events.
The deadline to return the judges’ application, available at www.georgiacenter.uga.edu/sites/defaulty/fies/jd_judge, is Dec. 10.
