Judges are needed for documentary, performance, website, exhibit and paper categories at the annual Northeast Georgia National History Day Contest, which will be held Feb. 18 at the Georgia Center for Continuing Education Conference Center and Hotel. Judging will be conducted from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Lunch will be provided.
History Day is a way for students in grades 6-12 throughout the country to study and learn about historical issues, ideas, people and events.
The deadline to return the judges’ application, available at www.georgiacenter.uga.edu/sites/default/files/history-judge-app.pdf, is Jan. 9.
