Members of the UGA community are invited to the next monthly meeting of the Athens chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals. The meeting will be held May 18 at the Georgia Center for Continuing Education Conference Center and Hotel. The program will begin at 6:30 p.m., and Judy James, faculty and staff career services manager in UGA’s Training and Development division, will speak on “Gaining Professional Recognition.”
The presentation will include a discussion on how to gain respect in the workplace, how to get others to notice your good qualities, how to respectfully deal with others and what to improve to move forward in your career.
