The Georgia Center for Continuing Education is seeking faculty and staff to teach academic short courses for the 2010 UGA Pre-College Summer Program. Courses are either one or two weeks in length, averaging between 13-25 hours each. Course topics are needed across a variety of academic disciplines.
The Pre-College Program is designed to introduce middle and high school students to the college experience and help them develop the skills they will need to succeed at a university level. Instructors are welcome to propose more than one course, and compensation is provided.
Proposals are accepted on a rolling basis, but are encouraged to be submitted by March 26.
For more information on the program, or to request a course proposal form, contact Jen Schumann at jschuma@uga.edu or (706) 542-7255.
