A CNN story about UGA students who have started successful businesses quoted Christopher Hanks, director of the Entrepreneurship Program in the Terry College of Business.
“There is no better time [to start a business]. During a depression or recession, innovation always increases,” he said. “[The students] certainly have their advantages. . . their enthusiasm level is really high. They don’t know what they don’t know. They get excited about ‘wouldn’t it be cool if we did that’ versus the money. The journey is not as much as about the money as about the challenge.”
