James C. Hearn, a professor in the Institute of Higher Education, has been named an associate editor of Educational Researcher, the peer-reviewed journal of the American Educational Research Association.
He will serve a three-year term, for the 2010-2012 volume years. Educational Researcher is published nine times a year and received by all AERA members. The journal contains scholarly articles, reviews, analyses and commentary of importance to the broad community of education researchers.
