Jason Evans, an environmental sustainability analyst in the Carl Vinson Institute of Government, a unit in the Office of the Vice President for Public Service and Outreach, was awarded $99,771 by the National Wildlife Federation to assess the implications of forest biomass harvesting on wildlife habitat in the Southeast under different scenarios. Co-investigators on the project are Daniel Geller, a public service assistant in the College of Engineering, and Alison Bramlet and Jon Calabria, assistant professors in the College of Environment and Design.
