Jeff Wallace, head coach of the women’s tennis team, was voted Coach of the Year by coaches of the Southeastern Conference. Wallace guided the team to an 18-1 overall record and the 2007 SEC title. In Wallace’s 22-year career at UGA, he has compiled 472 total wins and won six SEC titles and two national championships (1994, 2000). This is his first SEC Coach of the Year Award since the national championship year in 1994 and fifth overall.
