Mark Jensen, assistant professor in the department of epidemiology and biostatistics and the department of genetics, has been named an associate editor of the Journal of Molecular Evolution. The journal ranks seventh in the number of citations among evolutionary biology journals, and 14th in impact factor, according to the Intercollegiate Studies Institute. The journal covers experimental and theoretical work aimed at deciphering features of molecular evolution.
