The Latino Advisory Board and the Hispanic Scholarship Fund are co-hosting a faculty, staff and student mixer Oct. 6 from 4-6 p.m. in the Reading Room of the Miller Learning Center.
All interested faculty, staff and students are invited to attend. Refreshments will be provided.
Established in 2004 by an internal interest group of faculty, staff and students, the Latino Advisory Board focuses on issues in Georgia’s Latino community and UGA’s Latino community related to teaching, research and outreach programs and activities.
The Hispanic Scholarship Fund is the nation’s leading Hispanic scholarship organization, providing the Hispanic and other underserved communities more college scholarships and educational outreach support than any other organization in the country.
