The UGA Sports and Entertainment Law Society and Music Business Program will host the May Day Festival and Music Business Expo April 27 from noon to 8 p.m. at The Melting Point in downtown Athens. Open free to the public, the event is geared to musicians and those interested in the music industry.
The day will bring together the entire spectrum of musician resources, from luthiers and lawyers to publicists and publishers. The expo will run from noon to 5 p.m., and 15 bands will perform on two stages from 1-8 p.m.
