UGA architects to hold bike plan meetings

Athens, Ga. – The University of Georgia and Athens-Clarke County are working to update their bicycle master plans, and they’re asking for community input.

The UGA Office of University Architects for Facilities Planning and the ACC Department of Transportation and Public Works are holding campus and community meetings for interested students, faculty and staff and Athens-Clarke County residents. Their goal is to solicit comments and suggestions about current county and university planning efforts to update the ACC bike master plan and the UGA bike master plan.

Meetings will be held Oct. 13 at 7 p.m. at the Athens-Clarke County Planning Department on 120 Dougherty Street and Oct. 19 at 4 p.m. in room 250 of the Miller Learning Center on the UGA campus.
