Media Advisory: UGA president comments on the passing of Congressman Charles Norwood

Athens, Ga. – UGA President Michael F. Adams made the following statement today on the passing of Congressman Charles Norwood. “The University of Georgia has not only lost its Congressman, but the University, Mary and I have lost a close friend. Always willing to assist on any matter that benefited this constituency, he will be sorely missed. Our deepest sympathy to Gloria, the family and his staff.”
