Michael Holosko, the Pauline M. Berger Professor of Family and Child Welfare in the School of Social Work, has accepted an invitation from the City University of Hong Kong to be one of two international external evaluators for the bachelor’s and master’s programs in applied sociology. The external evaluator position is for a period of four years and involves visiting the City University of Hong Kong every other year and annually evaluating the goals, objectives, curriculum and learning outcomes for the programs using multiple criteria such as course syllabi, interviews with stakeholders and student examinations in all courses.
