The Massachusetts Institute of Technology will begin offering massive open online courses for students earning a master’s of engineering in logistics degree.
The program, which will launch next year, will offer half of the program through MOOCs for the duration for the 10-month program. This half face-to-face program will cut down time students spend on campus and could save them tens of thousands of dollars in tuition.
The MOOCs for the degree will be completed for the first half of the program, giving students a chance to try before financially committing themselves on campus.
