Nadia Kellam, an assistant professor of engineering in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, received $300,000 from the National Science Foundation as lead PI for an engineering education research project to understand how students’ emotions play key roles in both learning engineering and their development of a professional identity. Co-PIs are Tracie Costantino, an associate professor of art in the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences, and Joachim Walther, an assistant professor with the Faculty of Engineering.
