The current president of Southeastern University in Lakeland, Fla., has been tapped to succeed former Oral Roberts President Richard L. Roberts, who stepped down in November 2007 amid allegations of corruption, The Chronicle of Higher Education reported. Mark Rutland will assume the leadership of the Oklahoma-based institution in July. He has been president of Southeastern for 10 years.
