New website offers important safety information
The university’s public safety website, https://staysafe.uga.edu/, aggregates and prominently displays important safety information from across the university in one location, including:
- Safety tips.
- The latest news about UGA’s safety initiatives.
- Links to the Police and Emergency Preparedness websites, as well as more than a dozen additional sites.
- Links to sign up for public safety training opportunities.
The website serves as the cornerstone of UGA’s public awareness campaign about the university’s safety and security initiatives — empowering members of the UGA community to engage with the university’s public safety partners to protect themselves and to look out for one another.
