The next phase of the Brooks Mall master plan implementation has begun and will continue through August.
This phase includes work along D.W. Brooks Drive and West Green Street, in the vicinity of Boyd Graduate Studies Research Center, Hardman Hall, the College of Pharmacy, the dance and marine programs buildings and Snelling Hall.
The major infrastructure work of this phase will provide support to new campus facilities by upgrading or increasing the capacity of utility distribution systems and includes steam and condensation lines, water lines and communication lines. Once the utilities work is completed the surface hardscape and landscape work will be put in place.
Physical plant administrators ask that caution be used when driving or walking in, around or near this area. Construction will cause parking and traffic disruptions at various times during this work.
Anyone with questions or those who need assistance during construction should call 542-7494 or 542-7552.
