The website for the UGA Ombudsperson Program provides faculty, staff and students with a resource to learn about nondiscrimination and sexual harassment policies as well as where and how to report concerns about equal treatment at the university.
The ombudspersons serve as independent, neutral and informal resources. Rather than serving as advocates for individual members of the university community, they advocate for fairness and function as a source of information and referral.
Ombudspersons assist, to the extent possible, in informally resolving concerns brought to their attention.
