P. Toby Graham, director of the Digital Library of Georgia at the UGA Libraries, has been appointed by Gov. Sonny Perdue to the Georgia Historical Records Advisory Board.
The GHRAB promotes the educational use of Georgia’s documentary heritage by all its citizens, evaluates and improves the condition of records, encourages statewide planning for preservation and access to Georgia’s historical records and advises the secretary of state and the Georgia Archives on issues concerning records.
The board has 12 members, appointed by the governor, and representing citizens, educators, local governments, historical repositories and professional organizations.
