Pamela B. Kleiber, associate director of the Honors Program, was elected to serve a one-year term as a Councilor in the At-Large Division for the Council on Undergraduate Research, a national nonprofit organization that emphasizes the importance of student-faculty engagement and collaboration in scholarship and research.
Kleiber formally assumed office at the council’s annual business meeting in June at Montana State University.
Through workshops, publications and networking opportunities, the council supports and promotes student-faculty research mentoring relationships that are the foundation of successful undergraduate research programs in higher education. Established in 1978, the organization’s individual and institution membership base represents more than 900 colleges and universities.
