UGA’s 17th annual Andrea Carson Coley Lecture will feature Susan Rankin, associate professor in the College Student Affairs Program and research associate for the Center for the Study of Higher Education at Pennsylvania State University.
Rankin will present her lecture April 1 at 12:30 p.m. in the M. Smith Griffith Auditorium of the Georgia Museum of Art. A reception honoring the Coley family will precede the lecture at 11:30 a.m. in the art museum’s lobby. The lecture and reception are free and open to the public.
Rankin has authored and co-authored many books, including Campus Climate Assessment and Planning and Experiences of Gay Men in Fraternities: From 1960 to 2007. Co-chair of the Statewide Pennsylvania Rights Coalition, Rankin has collaborated with more than 70 institutions and organizations in implementing assessments and developing strategic plans about social justice issues.
