Phaedra Corso, associate professor of health policy in the department of heath administration, biostatistics and epidemiology in the College of Public Health, has been elected vice president of the Society for Medical Decision Making.
The society promotes an integrated approach to healthcare decision making by relying on multiple perspectives and disciplines in the hopes that communication in medical decision making will create informed, shared decisions by policy-makers, physicians, the public and patients.
