Phaedra S. Corso, associate professor in the department of health policy and management in the College of Public Health, was awarded the 2008 Kaafee Billah Memorial Award in Economics for the paper “Child Maltreatment, Youth Violence and Intimate Partner Violence: Developmental Relationships.” The paper was published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine in 2007.
The Kaafee Billah Memorial Award recognizes outstanding scientific contributions in economic research at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
