Hallie Pritchett, a map and federal regional depository librarian, was elected vice-chair/chair-elect of the American Library Association’s Map and Geography Round Table and will assume the role of chair in July. The table is one of 15 round tables in the American Library Association.
The table, which has nearly 400 members, provides a forum for people interested or involved in any aspect of map or geography librarianship. As chair, Pritchett will call and conduct the executive board, membership and business meeting and arrange the 2012 annual conference in Anaheim, Calif
