The National Research Council’s report on the status of college doctoral programs has been delayed again due to statistical flaws, The Chronicle of Higher Education reported. The council’s findings, which were scheduled to be released in February of 2008, will now most likely be released in late spring, said Charlotte V. Kuh, the council’s deputy executive director of policy and global affairs and director of the project. The council wants more time to amend the mistakes and also to inform colleges on how the report was conducted, which differs from its previous study in 1995.
