The Survey Research Center seeks married couples who own their home and have a child younger than 7 to participate in a study about lead-based materials in older homes.
To be eligible to participate in the study, the home must have been built prior to 1977.
Researchers will visit the couple and conduct a two-hour in-person interview in the home, talking with the married couple separately and together.
Married couples selected for the study will receive $100 ($50 for each spouse) for completing the in-person interview and several paper questionnaires.
Researchers at Georgia Tech in collaboration with the Survey Research Center are conducting the study.
Interested parties should call David Gregory (542-9084) at the Survey Research Center from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. for more information or to schedule an interview.
