The Rhodes scholarship organization, the prestigious grant program that sends students to the University of Oxford in England, has announced plans to begin naming scholars from China, according to The New York Times.
This move into China is one of the program’s biggest expansions, and it is meant to introduce a more diverse group of students to the program.
This fall, Rhodes plans to select its first group of three to six scholars from China.
