Richard Mullendore, vice president for student affairs, received the Outstanding Contributions to the Orientation Profession Award from the National Orientation Directors Association for “contributions and/or publications in the field of orientation, retention and transitions.”
Award recipients are selected based on the following criteria: significant research and/or publications in the field of orientation, retention and transition; outstanding leadership in professional organizations; merited stature among orientation, retention and transition professionals; and innovative and effective contributions fostering the advancement of the profession. Chartered in 1976, NODA continues the tradition of orientation, retention and transition professionals who have met annually for more than 40 years.
