Richard Siegesmund, associate professor and co-chair of the department of art education in the Lamar Dodd School of Art, has been selected by the Georgia Art Education Association to receive the Georgia Art Education Association Distinguished Service within the Profession Award.
This award recognizes an outstanding GAEA member for exemplary contributions, service and achievement at the state level. The award will be presented at the association’s annual convention at Brasstown Valley Resort in Young Harris on Nov. 14.
