Ron Arnholm, professor of art, recently received the Certificate of Excellence in Type Design for designing a new typeface, ITC Legacy Square Serif, as part of his Legacy family of fonts, that was accepted for the TDC2 2010 Type Design competition of the Type Directors Club of New York.
The font also will be included at the front of the Annual of The Type Directors Club, “Typography 31”, as a “Judges’ Choice.” This font family was selected by one of the jurors as a personal favorite.
