Rutgers offers free tuition to low-income students in New Jersey

Rutgers University announced that it has implemented a new program that will allow minority and low-income students in New Jersey to enroll at one of its campuses for free, The Chronicle of Higher Education reported.

The Rutgers Future Scholars Program, will select high-achieving eighth graders every year to attend the institution without having to pay tuition and other fees. In addition, students who are chosen will receive advice for planning their college education and about how to take tests.
