Nathan S. Chapman, an assistant professor in the School of Law, won the inaugural Harold Berman Prize for his article “The Establishment Clause, State Action and Town of Greece” in 24 William & Mary Bill of Rights Journal 405 (2015).
The Association of American Law Schools Section on Law and Religion created the honor to recognize untenured scholars on the tenure track for excellence in law and religion scholarship. Chapman will receive the award Jan. 4 at the AALS annual meeting.
