Scott Brown, head of the small animal medicine department in the College of Veterinary Medicine, received the Royal Canin Award at the annual meeting of the American Veterinary Medical Association.
The award recognizes veterinarians whose work in either clinical research or basic sciences, within the preceding five years, has contributed to the advancement of small animal medicine or surgery.
