Shawn Baker, a research professional in the Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources, won the 2010 National Technical Writing Award from the Forest Resources Association.
The organization recognized Baker at its annual awards luncheon in Hilton Head, S.C., on March 14 for his paper, “In-Woods Loader Operation Impacts Productivity,” which highlights the results of a field comparison of two approaches to processing timber and loading trucks on a “hot basis.”
