Sheryl Vogt, director of the Richard B. Russell Library for Political Research and Studies, was named a Fellow of the Society of American Archivists at the joint annual meeting of SAA and the Council of State Archivists in Austin, Texas.
She received the highest honor that the Society of American Archivists bestows for her contributions in the field of archives and to the archives profession. To be recognized as a Fellow, individuals must have a minimum of seven years of experience in the archives profession, promote the SAA’s objectives through superior writing and have made outstanding contributions to their profession.
