Anneliese Singh, an assistant professor in the College of Education’s department of counseling and human development services, has received the Ramesh and Vijaya Bakshi Community Change Award for her outstanding leadership and social activism in metro Atlanta’s South Asian community. The award was presented by Raksha, a Georgia-based nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting a stronger and healthier South Asian community through confidential support services, education and advocacy.
