A new website developed by faculty in the College of Family and Consumer Sciences focuses on multiple ways to go green.
Unveiled April 22 on Earth Day, UGA GreenWay is an attempt to reach Georgians who may not be familiar with the UGA Cooperative Extension. The site boasts information on false advertising claims by companies regarding environmentally responsible products, eco-labels, third-party certifications, consumer reviews and how to spot misleading labels. The website also has ideas on how to save and invest money while helping the planet.
